Success students of Snehalaya
Ahmednagar: Date: 28/6/08
Sonu (name changed) is HIV positive by birth. She brought to admit in Snehalaya five years ago. She was about to die anytime when she was admitted. She was suffering from various opportunistic infections like harpies; T.B. jaundice etc in spite of that she was attending the school regularly. She was in class 10th this year.
The results of secondary and higher secondary declared a week ago. Some the students of Snehalaya gained good marks, among them Sonu also passed with first class. This was a great surprise for all of us. Sonu achieved her goal in a very adverse condition. All her teachers and other students congratulated him for her success.
Vikas Patil passed with 75%, in class 10th, who is looking after the other small children. Mahesh Markad passed with 65%. In class 12th, Ganga passed with 75% marks, Ganga used to cook the food for Snehalaya's inmates.
All have taken the admissions in various colleges for the further education. Ganga decided be the teacher and join the D. Ed college (English Medium). All the students want to work for Snehalaya.
The students of Snehalaya's Balbhavan also passed with very good marks in this year. Snehalays runs the study centers, motivate the students to join the schools, counsel their parents for sending their children to school and also bares the educational fees and other expenses related to education.
Seema Salave, Savita Wadagale, Sunil Bharaskar from Borkarnagar Balbhavan, Vikas Gawali, Najama Shaikh, Viddya Kumbhar, Sonali Netake, Puja Bhokare etc. from Sanjayangar Bhalbhavan passed the 10th, with distinction.
